When I first moved to Block Island, I was drawn to the natural beauty of this unique place. At first I did not know how long I would stay. I had been traveling, seeking inspiration, and found the island's fluidity and ever changing beauty to be a catalyst for my work.
For many years my salon traveled with me in a small orange suitcase; making house calls and providing bridal services all over the island. Salt Hair Shop is just the newest step in the evolution of my art, and I'm thrilled to welcome clients, new and old, to the space as it continues to grow.
